A book talk is all about sharing your love for a book in a way that gets others excited to read it too. Every month the library will have a different theme or genre. This will allow for all participants to dive into what makes the book special—its plot, characters, and the feelings it evokes. Using your own experiences and some cool visuals, you paint a picture that makes everyone want to grab the book and start reading. It's like storytelling mixed with persuasion, aiming to ignite a passion for reading and connect people with awesome books.
Book talks are limited to 5-10 minutes per participant.
