Suggest a Title to purchase

MPL boasts a collection that encompasses a wide array of interests. If you encounter a title that we do not possess but believe should be included, please feel free to suggest it.

Title suggestion steps

1. Please check the library catalog to confirm the item is unowned.
2. Go to the Purchase Suggestion Form below.
3. Log in with your library card number and PIN.
4. Submit your suggestion.

Purchase suggestion guidelines

• You are welcome to propose a title for acquisition for either our physical collection or our electronic collection. 
• To submit a purchase suggestion, you must possess a library card in good standing. 
• You may suggest up to thirty (30) items per year.
• Please note that we are unable to accept requests for books prior to their publication dates or for movies that have not yet been released on DVD. 
• The library strives to accommodate all suggestions; however, purchases are dependent on budgetary constraints and the guidelines established by the Collection Development Policy.
• Our librarians will assess each suggestion for adding to our collection, however, due to the large volume of requests, we are not able to purchase all requested materials.
