Ok, don't panic... but we are changing how we're registering. This year we're partnering with Beanstack in order to provide a better experience for everyone!
You'll still need to fill out the registration form(s) below to participate and then, if you need assitance, we can set you up with a Beanstack account to log your reading.
This does bring up a very important question however...
What in the world is beanstack
Beanstack is a mobile app that tracks how many books, minutes, or pages you've or your child have read. This means that no one can lose their paper reading logs in the wild (but fun) chaos of summer!

- Everyone is encouraged to register and participate.
- Participants are entered into our grand prize drawings!
- Beanstack serves as a way to track your reading progress.
- Everyone is encouraged to read throughout the week.
- ALL forms of reading are encouraged, including books, audiobooks, graphic novels, and more.
- Even having someone else read to you counts towards your reading minutes!
- Once you have completed your reading for the week, return to the library to claim your weekly prize.
- Readers have the option to read more than the minimum number of minutes a week. The more you read the more chances you will have for our grand prize drawings!
Yes! The summer reading program is open to all ages.
Nope! 100% free, no catch
We can't reveal too much about our prizing just yet, but there are grand prizes that are raffled out at the end of the program and weekly prizes for those who complete their reading logs!
